“We are all just walking each other home…” - Ram Dass
Your Facilitator: JD
I began my journey as a soldier, serving in combat and returning home carrying the weight of PTSD and depression. These challenges shaped my understanding of trauma and resilience in profound ways. In time, I was drawn to explore alternative paths to healing, which led me to the therapeutic potential of psilocybin. What began as a personal journey of recovery soon transformed into a calling to help others navigate their own healing.
Through training, lived experience, and continued practice, I became a licensed psilocybin facilitator in the state of Oregon. I now work in partnership with Oregon Psychedelic Solutions to provide safe, supportive environments where clients can explore deep personal transformation. My background as a combat veteran gives me a unique perspective and allows me to offer grounded, compassionate care—especially for those navigating trauma, grief, or major life transitions.
Outside of facilitation, I’ve lived across the U.S. and the Philippines and stay deeply connected to nature, music, and creativity. I find peace working on cars, hiking through wild spaces, and capturing the world through photography and film. These passions help me stay balanced and bring authenticity and curiosity into my work. I aim to create a space where people feel safe, seen, and supported on their journey toward healing and self-discovery.
